Number of Visitors Think About It March 25, 2008 Surely the Holy Spirit, who prophesied through the man Elijah so many millennia ago, has spoken to me this night. I had been in the Presence of the Lord for hours, through reading His Word, meditating and communing with Him. I finally tried to go to bed and to sleep, as it was early in the morning. Then, as if cascading down from heaven, like a gently sloping waterfall, I could see words written on the waters. As they came closer to earth the words became thunderous; “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” Like an echo repeats a sound over and over as it travels, I could see these words were headed into the White House of America. I knew what the Lord was doing. This was a prayer answered; that our President would hear from God He would be courageous and take a stand for the principles of God, especially where Israel is concerned. As I was so comforted by what I saw and heard I began to notice that His voice proceeded to enter every Government Building in Washington D.C. moving into every chamber and hallway. Those same words entered into every government house across this nation. And then proceeded on like a mighty wind, making their way into every church. (I was aware that every person sitting on the pews could hear His words.) Continuing across America like a sweeping rain, His words echoed into every home on every street in this nation. And finally in some remarkable way, I knew the Words coming from The Prophet were entering into the consciousness of every one who called themselves ‘Christian.’ I sat up in bed, shocked at the intense Power of God’s Voice reverberating, commanding and covering this land. They filled my own soul …I had to examine my own life by His question; “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” I thank God that when I saw Him hanging at Calvary, I made that choice and never looked to or for another god. I was taken back to that fateful day when Elijah confronted the children of Israel on Mt.Carmel. They commonly practiced mixing the worship of God and the worship of Baal. At times they worshiped God, and then they would turn around and worship Baal. They worshiped God to please the Prophets and worshiped Baal to please Jezebel, in order to gain favor with people in high places… who had the power to return favors. This nation from the White House to the lowest man or woman on the streets has made conscious choices as to whom or what they would give their devotions. Because of the pull of the Baal’s that promise a quick fix if we will just compromise, many Christians have only half-heartedly served God, much like the Israelites did at the time of Elijah. As a result of compromise, could we not expect that God would use the weather to speak today? God used the weather in wimp Ahab’s day to speak loud and clear and He is again speaking His displeasure in the same manner. Watch the extreme weather conditions and compare. Only the ignorant of the ways of the Lord could toss off what has been happening as just ‘nature’ doing its thing. As Lord Creator, God alone has the power to bring nature under His control, whether by floods, earthquakes or Fire. Through these disasters God is speaking to this divided Baalish nation; Listen up America, the L ord God created nature. It is His to control. Can you harness the wind or make the floods to cease? He can. Can you stop an earthquake? He can. Can you calm the seas? He can. Can you send rain, thunder and lightening from heaven? He can. It would be easy to cast all the blame for America’s woes on the government. But that excuse will not stand examination in the Light of God’s Word. Paul declared that we as Christians are Kings and Priest. That being true, we must take the responsibility as Sons and Daughters of God, fo r not taking a bold stand for truth. We all have the responsibility of speaking for God even as Elijah did. God has always called His children to task for their nations woes. How many do you know who refuse to jeopardize comfort, favor or popularity to take a bold stand for their Christ? When we become mealy-mouthed our silence screams out, “I have made my choice.” Fear, intimidation, whatever excuse can be made, will never justify choosing Baal. Many would blame a rotten childhood for being double minded, making excuses for not following God with their whole heart, soul and strength. The most shameful situation is when any human being declares they are Christian and then continues to vacillate between two opposing kings. To whom ever you look to for safety or provision, that one is your God. We are in a time of spiritual compromise even though church attendance is explosive, where the flesh is stroked and pampered. What a crime against the blood of Jesus when churches are getting bigger and bigger yet the people of God are becoming spiritually smaller and weaker. People, examine yourselves in the Light of God’s Word, are you a member of the lukewarm Laodician Church? If you are face it! Do you really want to be found mingling with such, should the Lord suddenly appear? The Lord is, this very hour, gathering His Remnant; His tithe to Himself, which will make up The Mighty Army. Hell is marching toward Israel and this once formidable Christian nation, America. We have played the harlot. And it just may be America’s time to pay up. The Lord has shown me that just as a baby must tunnel through a dark, passage, to make its way into this world, so too are agents of destruction tunneling under and into major cities across this nation. They are operating with stealth and yet mingling with neighbors undetected. All the while their hierarchy is playing the Baal card, with people in high places. Even as I am writing the Lord is saying, “All who call themselves Christians are being summoned to a spiritual Mt.Carmel testing. Your faith will be tested by fire. In the same manner every decision you or the President makes, that in any way compromises the integrity of My Word, will reap exposure and tragic fallout.” Every household who has, in ignorance, fallen into the trap of trusting in Jezebel’s false prophets, who promise security and peace, while being led by two-faced rulers, will reap unexpected sorrows. Every Government Leader that makes a decision that compromises the principles of God’s Word will bring about sorrow and suffering for the whole nation. Heads of every household in this nation will be brought to account for the worship of the slum lord Satan who promises that, “Tomorrow, will be a better day.” There will not be a better day for America or individuals until we, without abandon declare there is One God and One God alone. It is He that we worship and no other. It is He, who gave His very Son to set us free, to be bold in our convictions, speaking truth and standing by it unafraid. For we who know our God, our only fear would be to fall into the hands of an angry God. We do not serve Him out of fear as the world knows fear but out of the respect He so rightly deserves, due to the price He paid for sinners like you and me. All hail King Jesus! All hail Emmanuel! He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! And for those of us who know our God, the times that are coming is our time to look up with great expectation and joyful shouting for we are His and He is ours! The Lord is God and We Follow Him!
